Photos from Strathtay - 2007 Etape Caledonia
These photos of the Etape Caledonia cyclists
were taken at Strathtay a small quite village on the banks
of the River Tay, in Highland Perthshire. There was one poor
cyclist from Ayshire who features predominently in these
photos as he had a second puncture and had used his spare
tube, so was having to fix it with patches. You can see
everyone passing him by as he struggles to try and get the
repair completed.

The last two photos of the white water
rafters were taken
at Grandtully a short distance from the Etape Caledonia
cyclists in Strathtay. I was crossing the bridge when I saw
them passing by. Highland Perthshire has the best white
water rafting in Scotland. I in fact videod a short clip, and
when I went back and looked at the video one of the rafters
had fallen out down the rapids and was being pulled back in
by their colleagues.
