Eating Out in Highland
Perthshire
Pitlochry, Dunkeld, and
Kenmore offer a superb selection of restaurants, cafes and bars
to choose from. You will find fish and chips bars where you can
purchase a simple carryout fish supper to the very top quality
dining out experience. You are sure to find a restaurant that
will meet your particular needs. We have
broken the area's eating establishments under two headings;
Pitlochry and Blair Atholl
Pitlochry which includes the tiny village of Moulin has the best
selection of restaurants and cafes in the area.
Blair Atholl just 5 miles north on the A9 from Pitlochry, you
can choose from fish & chips to a fabulous authentic bagal in
the Watermill, to a restaurant in Blair Castle.
Kenmore and
Dunkeld
In the village of Kenmore, the start of the River
Tay, on the banks of Loch Tay you cannot go wrong with two
places to choose from, whether you are staying in the area or
just touring for the day. Dunkeld which is much further down
stream on the mighty River Tay offers a very good selection of
places to eat out.
